Do you remember me?, 2026

Analogue film work combining Super 8 mm with hand-drawn colouring on celluloid, sound is partially recorded on magnetic tape. Decaying of the frames and images is reached by manually using different types of chemicals.This film embodies the mechanics of memory.

Description:
A familiar face from the past on which you futilely try to hold your gaze. An image you struggle to recall upon waking. Like memory itself, celluloid and magnetic tape decay over time, dissolving images, distorting them, or filling them with blind spots.
